Villian is 18/5/2.8 over 266 hands. I assume the flop is standard. I was torn whether to call or fold on the turn. It seems close but I don't know if he pays us off with his straights when the board pairs. Does the presence of the FD make you call as you can bluff shove on the rvr when it comes? I seem to run into this type of hand and not know what my plan is, so if you can lay out your thought process here, I'd appreciate it.

yeah river is an easy call. flop and turn are fine in position imo.

Id be inclined to raise the flop. Tho that may be too loose. Against loose opposition I would raise it up. The AT redraw to a chp against JT and the bd nfd improves our equity enough.

This is against a pretty tight range

I dont think its completely impossible for him to lead naked KK here and get it in. But def not assuming he will do this 100%.

ofcourse not but comeon we need to be right like 15% of time now.

Much diff scenario. The hands that we beat have SD value and since river pots tend to polarize peoples range to nuts or air (and he doesnt have a lot of air), it would suck to face a river pot.

I am not sure its correct as I hate to fold the effective 2nd nuts vs other regs, but if he pots I think I fold.

I'm not arguing the river call to his tiny lead, folding was a huge mistake on my part.

If you really wanna fold the turn cause you think he has JT here ~always, you're probably better off calling and bluffing diamonds.

Yet with the line he took, most importantly the mini river bet, it's perfectly viable for him to have KK/QQ/AK imo. Not saying he'll never show up with JT.

call turn, try bluffing diamonds. river is whatever i doubt you are good much here so the fold is not that bad.

If i have seen his cards JTxx i will still call, and that is NOT a level.
