preflop i just wanted to isolate mp but instead my customer became bb with whom i was battling yesterday on few tables where we would 3 bet and 4 bet each other very often... today is no different even though he was with me just on this table... i am lost on the turn since i raised him on flop with the intention of going all in, i percieve his range on 2 pair and expected him to get it in... when he just calls the flop raise and the king comes i just froze a little and bet after a little while... how do you play this hand, does anyone just check the turn?

Call the flop. Even though you have a nice draw you have no pair and a donkbet from this kind of player with the described dynamic means you don't have fold equity, at least not against the parts of his range you want fold equity against - pairs and two pairs. You obv don't want him to fold any of his naked draws which he might do, though obv he's more likely to jam any draw he's willing to donk. Reasons to flat are that you've got position and two nutty draws, so if he has a wrap of his own, hitting the T means you've basically got him drawing dead, ditto the hearts. Your runner runner flush draw is more useful when you flat the flop in position as well. Your range should not be faceup as a draw on this board either, he would probably expect you to jam most good draws here and probably puts you on a one pair hand.

yah of course you don't want to repot that. You are losing a lot in case he has some draws which you can get value from whereas you might fold him otherwise. Plus in many cases opponents have sets and you don't want to be up against that. In case you don't hit you have position to rep a number of hands for a bluff in case he shuts down.

I love the way villan plays this - it's a great way to play a good straight draw on this type of board. Agree with other posters about calling, but if we have a pair, even if it's just 6 then raising becomes optimal as we are now crushing top 2.
