Villain (sofishy) is LAG, I did catch a "deep" bluff from him earlier. This hand was strange - let me know what you would have done on the turn.

Have only played against the villain once before I think and it was a short session.

PokerStars Game #16267680341: Omaha Pot Limit ($0.50/$1.00)
Table 'Brunsia III' 6-max Seat #6 is the button
Seat 1: ferzol ($61.60 in chips)
Seat 2: kobbar ($102.25 in chips)
Seat 4: sofishy ($105.95 in chips)
Seat 5: Hero ($180.10 in chips)
Seat 6: teambronx ($120.20 in chips)
ferzol: posts small blind $0.50
kobbar: posts big blind $1
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Hero [7c 3c Ts 7d]
sofishy: calls $1
Hero: calls $1
teambronx: folds
ferzol: folds
kobbar: checks
*** FLOP *** [7h 9d 4c]
kobbar: checks
sofishy: bets $3.35
Hero: calls $3.35
kobbar: calls $3.35
*** TURN *** [7h 9d 4c] [4d]
kobbar: checks
sofishy: bets $12.90
Hero: calls $12.90
kobbar: folds
*** RIVER *** [7h 9d 4c 4d] [5c]
sofishy: bets $37.45
Hero: ???

I ended up just calling, What would you have done?

Normally, I will push here 50% of the time and call here 50% of the time. This was one of the last hands of another high variance session, so I think that caused me to make the decision I did.

He limped preflop, so 99 is definitely in his range. He would also be bottom set hard on this flop.

use the f*** converter

as played i dont see he is betting anything except full house or quads so i credit him for 99, because if you were calling with straight draw he may scary you filled up

imo, even LAGs wouldnt be agressive w/o any hand on river on that scary board
as played i'd probably fod or call to get information, because i think we behind here 75% of time

on turn i'm going to check call it to allow him agressive move and trap
but at this river and especially at this river i may consider folding as i described

edit: i thinked about it and really dont know what to do here. i def c/c turn but river... probably i'd go with my intuition and depending of table dynamics.

I fold this river 0% of the time. I thought my cold call on the river was super nitty.

Sorry I have never used a converter before, I will from now on .

fold preflop the hand is terrible.

as played fold the river, doubt he valuebets worse. raise is out of the question. only better calls unless he is horribly bad.

5 hands earlier I won a big pot (like $60) with QQxx on a board just like this. He bluff pot bet the river.

Doesn't the fact that he's been caught before make it waaaay less likely that he's bluffing now?

Not trying to be results oriented, but I won the hand... He had 94xx

Folding is completely out of the question. This villain is thinking on one level ("I has a full house LOL") and is just firing every bullet he can.

My question was should I raise the river?

Playing that starting hand was a marginal decision, but the fact that you had been observant enough to make this play vs this Villain shows that you are becoming a "thinking" player.

once you decide to play this marginal hand, I think that you can't find a better spot for firing here... if u play 77XX and u hit middle set on the flop, full house on the turn, I think that calling the turn is inappropriate... I'ld raise the turn, and fire a blank river... as played I think that you had to push the river... just two hands beat you here... and from the info we had on the villain you could think to be ahead 75%+ of these spots...
