Pre flop I limp ugly kings and lead out at this flop with the over pair, 2nd nut flush draw and OESD. My equity on the flop is probably such that I should be comfortable getting it in here right? If I just call and a blank turn comes am I supposed to c/c turn then c/f river blank? So standard shove or call looking for reasons thanks!

repot. If you just call you will have many tough decisions on later streets OOP.

i would call

you're too deep for going broke on this flop to be good

be cautious on the turn but i don't think bloating this flop is a good thing

41% against AJ with clubs, 45% against JJ, 23% against AA with club draw, and though the latter isn't as likely, you're not getting in as a favorite here too often

SPR is way too high to get this in, just call and evaluate turn

reads would help also

We have an overpair, OESD and 2nd NFD and are just calling, really? Always thought this would be a jam like 100% of the time!!
What if we raised pre, wouldn't this be a jam on the flop, every time?

I started this thread:

and BananaBalla, who is way above my limit I guess, said that this is a super standard stackoff, not the same situation?

well, no. Your hand is a 3bet pot with stp of 5. This hand is a limped pot with stp of more then 25.

Well thx for quick response, u have any good articles / content about STP, which I guess means 'Stack to Pot Ratio'?

Edit: @blaafarris u mentioned STP but why would u still jam, like in ur first post, u disagree with monikcrazy and this_passing?

stack to pot ratio yes. Sorry, I have no link to articles, maybe somebody else could help you out.

On the hand I thought we were doing much better against a getting it in range here then this_passing calculated, so I am starting to think call>pot.

4 handed you really have to raise this hand pre from the c/o. As played call.
