Just wondered how others play this hand 6 max. In a regular 50/$1 game online I have tried playing this hand so many different ways. For instance there has been a raise UTG and three players call you have AAXX one suited ace.
In the past I have re raised full pot only to find maybe one player will fold and the rest all call. Not a good situation unless you hit that ace or your flush. Most of the time someone has hit the flop and you are forced to let the hand go.

So now how I play the hand is to not invest too much money preflop unless its heads up and I can get it all in. Be interested in how everyone else plays the hand out.

limp or reraise, never raise unless you're on the button or the CO and you're relatively sure the button usually folds to open raises from the CO. also, a word of caution, if deepstacked NEVER reraise when it only commits like 20% effective and the action is likely to go 3 way or more, it just seems like you're set mining at that point and most flops become very, very tricky to play. (Also, when the lovely Axx flops, people will be vary weary of paying off as they will be paranoid about AA being out there, unless they have either mid set or some kind of solid combo draw.) Also, when OOP be cautious about repotting unless you're sure you can iso and get a good amount of your stack (40-50%) in pre. Also, consideration needs to be given to what is going along with the AAxx. Things like double suited aces or cards with straight potential (AAJT) can obviously be played stronger pre.

If you think you have fold equity, then repot it preflop. Otherwise, just call and hope to spike an A or flush on the flop.

It sounds like you maybe playing AAXX only for it's value. That is, if you don't catch what you deem a favorable board, you are giving up. This is allowing other players to outdraw and bluff you, when they would have folded to pressure. Don't be burdened by the fact that you have AA, and will more then likely finish with a pair of aces. Maybe look for spots to c-bet or barrell when you normall wouldn't.

Your opening range should be much much wider then AA. So, keep in mind, you are much more likely to have other stuff then AA. Rep some of that stuff. Find some spots where you think villans would fold some better hands, or hands that have equity to continue. Balnace your 3/b range as well.
PlO 100'ers have HUD's, and read this forum, and if you'e 3/b'ing < 5% or smthg. they will know what you have, and punish you.

just bet out most of your aces preflop in any position imo, limp/raising AAxx is stupid, everyone will know what you have+ that you're OOP most of the time

you are stupid.
the point of limp reraising AA is when you think you can iso someone that you have as a 2-1 dog or worse. and if people with HUD catch on that you only limp reraise with AA, then throw a curveball and repot it with some random stuff as well. I'm not saying only limp reraise with AAxx, that would be too predictable. It is a good play, assuming you can iso and get a decent chunk of your money in pre (see original post.)
