They are also considering having people fly to the Isle of Man to discuss the changes, and we don't have anyone from the PLO community afaik. I volunteered, so if people approve, let it be known in the thread in the Internet Poker Forum.

about new vpp rate, i played small session at 2/4-3/6 and after 611hands i received 749vpp running 28/23.

seems very close to the ''old rate'', no?

others have bigger sample size to confirm that seems the change seems very small ?

getting more vpp/hand so far then hem says at 2/4-5/10 but im also not 24 tabling and playing 17/14 so im thinking players with your type of stats wont be affected too much

Hmm, so far over my first 5k hands i have 11% less VPP's compared to the average of last month and have been playing relatively high stakes. I always considered myself one of the more loose regs. Anyone profiting from the rake change?

I played a pretty nitty session just now and was running 22.5/16.8 and earned 0.78 vpps per hand. In the old system I would have made 1.03 vpps per hand - or a 26% decrease.

So I guess a nitty style will see a bigger difference than a looser style.

What this also means is that people like JoeIngram1

etc was earning very high rakeback before. They were not contributing that much rake but was getting 63% rakeback on what the average player was raking.

In a example a 16 tabler of FR nl says he got 60-65% vpps of what he got before. This means he was probably earning around 100% rakeback with the old system, pretty profitable to mass multi table. Thats why so many players have been multitabling, because they can breakeven in the game and earn really juicy rakeback.

In my first 6k hands I'm getting more VPPs than before, I should probably say "same" as it's not very much.

I haven't table selected at all and have been playing in some quite tough tables so playing 30/22 I was the loose cannon on these tables lol... :/

I guess If I table selected a minimum I'd be getting a bit less.

my 1st 4k hands playing 26/21 at 2/4-3/6 i received 1.34vpp. last year i received 1.32 at 3/6 and 1.15 at 2/4.

playing standard style...for those lags 33vpip this change will be great.
