Anyone think its weird twin-caracas is allowed to go from twin-caracas-->jorge arias-->twin-caracas all while being a stars pro? I dont care really and it doesnt effect me, but don't think its really fair.

I think its weird in conjunction with them not releasing previous screen names of their pros sometimes... don't see a problem with it if the info is made public on say their news screen when they sign, which I think it was for him?

Personally I think it would be nice if you could select like 3 names and interchange between them, even if it listed your other 2 names if someone hovered their mouse over your avatar/name. Sometimes I just feel like having a different name displayed o_O

I talked to him in the chat regarding this issue. He said he liked his old SN better that's why he changed it back and since everyone knew that twin-caracas=Jorge Arias no one would mind. He also said that PokerStars does not require pros to play under their real names.

twin was the only Team Online member to be playing under his real name. The whole team is consistent now.

im just a lurker in this thread, not a hsplo player but this feels too comical.
i dont personally think that jorge arias changing his sn is an issue at all, but your answer once again lowers my respect for pokerstars.

what the hell does what the other team online members use for their screennames have to do with this?

It seems like you think that him changing his sn might be an issue to some of the more improtant players at your site (high correlation to people regularly posting in this thread) and you therefore try to defend twin carracas changing his sn back.

why cant you just say that jorge wanted to change his sn back (for whatever reasons) and ps didnt really care and allowed him to do it.

while regular (i.e. non sponsored) players dont have this privilege its not really an issue as long as it is made public like 4cardgrind alluded to. however instead of telling it like it is you talk like some lawyer at the brink of getting into some deep **** over some ill-considered words. just relax and stop treating your valued costumers like kindergardeners.

This makes a lot of sense. But he is still listed as JorgeArias on your Team Online presentation page, needs an update.

The general consensus seems to be that people don't care and that everyone always knew that twin-caracas = JorgeArias.

PokerStars does care very much about the impact of screen name changes. In the not too distant future, development will be complete that will make it more clear what the former screen name was of newly added Team Pro members. All Team Online members will keep their prior screennames, as all current team members now do.

I'm a reg who has logged probably 100k hands with Jorge/Twin. I don't care.

I def wish I knew all these online/regular stars pros old sns (ie george danzer, ray wu (booshiet i believe), and a few others i cant really think of right now)

+1 Seriously. There is a few Star Pro I have no clue who they were and are reluctant to say who they were. That's more of a problem than jorge imho

agree with above posts, while we have Steve here I wish they would show us who all stars pros former names was. Being hesitant to give it up is absurd.
