It is very difficult to rob a bank or a supermarket, compared to figure out who of those cash games guys is a highstakes one and just come to him and take all his money away, most poker players will be pretty much unable to responde anything not to mention defend themselves. Then just take a walk to the next ATM with them and all their credit cards and there we go.
Exactly this.
Young kids running around with huge amounts of cash, bunches of online-highrollers stay in the same hotels during big events and most of them have their notebooks in the room, all that made as popular as possible obv through TV and other media.
I wonder not more people get robbed, not more notebooks infected, not more robberies at big events with low security as EPT Berlin 2010 (that this would happen was so obvious imo!!)...
So if not in Vegas, where the security is trained/used to care about gamblers with a lot of cash, people should just be more careful, try to deposit cash at the casino or sth and not to leave laptops alone when they are used for gambling (cause they are like cash).
And the hotelroom safe is also rubbish, cause it always can be opened easily with the mastercode.
