I've been changing scenery (games, sites, soft) but it's lame and not recommended, it's running away from problems instead of fighting them: I'm a fish everywhere I find watching session videos the best way of chilling out for myself: it's someone else there who makes mistakes, not me Obv read books and watch videos on mental game. Psychological self-treatment is sooo hard, but I'm sure it's vital for success.
Yeah, I guess I'll take few days to watch some videos and try to relax again, read some mental game stuff, thanks for reply

get away from all things poker for a minimum of 2-3 days to where u not thinking at all about playing. do something fun and that makes u happy. U want to have a fresh mindset when u return to the tables.
when ur ready to come back and play, play a stake below and play quick sessions. i find it helps to get that winning mentality back.

What do you guys think about switching to zoom PLO?

What is the winrate difference?
Is it good to play zoom small stakes to make more volume that way?

depends

generally zoom has more nittiness and worse more predictable regs, but you can check the player pool before deciding to join it. make sure you color code players as you play with them to make this easy.

if you play low enough stakes that you can 8 table zoom then i think thats definitely worth doing. unfortunately that volume doesnt exist at higher stakes.

8 tables zoom PLO? Sick!
Im need to focus while I play 4

well then yeah 2-4 zoom i think is a good idea.

one benefit of it is that you are seeing bigger tables so are more likely to take notice of your position etc, for example i make much worse EP opens at normal plo tables than i would at zoom tables.

Give it a try for a couple of days and see, I used to love it and now never bother with it.

VPP rates suck
Often at a table with 5 nits (like 6/3)
Win rate is far less than normal tables
Fish like to chatter/bitch in box and can't at Zoom

I'm finding at low stakes Zoom, ABC poker is a license to print money.(10 plo)

Guys cbet way too much.

Lots still play utter rubbish like J772.

And they call you down with 99xx on t7766 brds. that was a small bluff I ran yesterday. Don't bother is my advice, so many fish will still pay you off when you have it.

Edit: And they play KK (good and bad) Like its HE , which is great when you have AA.

ok I will give it a try, the point is Im playing 5/6 tables at once so with 4 zoom tables I make 2xmore hands/hour, so even if the winrate is lower it should be more $ per hour.

I think I would play zoom up to PLO50 from PLO100 and higher I would play normal tables
What do you think?

You need to try it to see what you think. Zoom can be a lot more mentally exhausting than regular tables in my experience.

The last time I played PLO25 Zoom it was nit city but might be better at night.

Take a few days' break and don't think about poker. It works for me and I feel overall much more refreshed and excited about playing again, rather than dwelling over the losses.

just talked to Johan on Skype, he is not looking for students.

This is why I've said a bunch of times people need to look for a willing coach at the coaching forum, then confirm credentials here. Not the other way around

Yea, make a post in the looking for coaching part of the coaching section. Fwiw, Grizy was a solid coach, not sure if he's looking for students or how low of stakes you're looking for.

Doubtless he'll be checking out the coaching forum then...

omfg, so many bad plo reg-players, but they are running better than Usain Bolt....gimme a break.

ya it's sick how i keep playing some regs over and over cause they suck to no end and i can't ever seem to win vs them.

there's one guy i keep playing heads up at PLO 50 and PLO100. he keeps calling off his stack in the worst ways possible, raw gutshots and stuff - and he keeps getting there. on the other hand my wraps and flush draws keep bricking. also turning his medium set vs my top set into quads is one of his sick specialities.
