but true that was pretty nasty...wasn't my brightest day. dropped like 500bb and ran over ev. biggest donation went elglado in a play that i will not soon forget.

if only i could resist the urge to play when i'm not tired and upset, i always end up tilting a bit.

once again:

Where is the July Low content thread ?!

Anyway, does anyone know how likely would a 1 to 1.5 PTBB be to win 200 BI in a given month playing 20+ tables of 1/2 PLO

Played a little with evplusplus, putting 180 as SD and it almost feels impossible :/

^I think you need the amount of hands too. Then just eyeball how much under/over 50% its going to be

Eyeballing 60 trial runs 10 seems to be at 200bins or over with 300k hands. So thats a 17% chance. You are guaranteed to hit a 40bin DS, and sitting at 50% to find a 80 bin DS so I'm thinking thats the point where you will loose the bet or not.

Imo poker is much more fun when your winrate is > 1 to 1.5ptBB and you aren't playing 20 tables. ~

agree, for the long-term game and health it's much better to play fewer tables with a better win-rate

however, 20 tabling for hours while on some kind of upper is an epic challenge that is very rewarding, like trying to beat super mario 3 while not skipping any worlds like a pansy bitch

This is sick. Would be such a mind**** for me if I had some sort of challenge going over a month.

omg, games got so much tougher since wsop is over. playing 1/2 now is like playing 5/10 one year back (ok mb more bad regs, but mb also even less fish)

I'm looking for volunteers to help test and provide feedback on a new PokerStars software feature. Volunteers should be multi-tabling cash game players who DO NOT table select based on which players are at the table. Table selecting based on statistics displayed in the lobby is fine.

The feature will be tested playing for real money on the standard PokerStars tables.

Please PM me if interested.

I'm curious how people feel about blak**kcat.
I know shorties are generally loathed, but I admire the guy's work ethic.
I kinda wish he'd come on here and do a well.

I hate it when my grind schedule coincides with blkcat's. just look on PTR, he's your obvious small loser but profitable with SNE. I was suprised when I realized the range of stakes that he sits into, but I guess it's unavoidable for him with the extended timer.

one thing I don't understand is why he doesn't even play his free hands (til blind reaches him) after a double up...instead chosing to snap quit

I remember when we were sharing opinions on k_a_i_n_t_d/r_e_t_e_j_3_2_3 and someone said "Why the phuck are people admiring this bumhunter? FFS next thing we know 20bb ratholers are the new superstars."

The dust hasn't even settled on those words and now we got a request for a well about a guy who quits the table before the blinds reach him after a double up.

came in this thread to ask this question. Guy seems like a bit of a sicko, saw him have a 30bi session on his PTR and spotted him a few times with stacks >$1,000 on NORMAL 100plo tables.

Also seems to do VERY well at 400plo according to PTR

props to him

NEVER XD Biggest winning day I ever had in terms of BI won was 25bi at 100bb 1/2 on FT, was split up into 3 - 4 sessions though, idk how some of you guys are such mega grinders, plz teach me

GL to him Seems pretty solid from PTR results.

yeah 9k hand session is pretty damn sick, most hands i played in a day was like 3k maybe 9 tabling (usually 6 tbl)

decent chunk of FPPs in 9,000 hands aswell
