yeah, i love zoom

playing 100zoom with a 3fig balance is really fun

switched from zoom to normal tables. more hands/hr 12-18 tabling and i dont like the tight dynamics so much in zoom, although the comfort is awesome

i think the 100 isnt that tight, the 50 is just absurd nutpeddling tho

yeah 50 zoom i've noticed is wayyyy tighter than 25 zoom. i've taken to starting 50plo games (deep and regular) over playing zoom 50PL. probably better anyhow if i'm going to relearn transitioning to midstakes PLO.

In the beginning of august we floated the idea of combining the fast- and normal speed tables into one singular table type.

After listening to feedback from the players, we have now come up with a proposal that we think would go over well with most players, but before implementing it, we again ask for your feedback.

I prefer the way "normal" tables are now, changing the muck time from 3 seconds to 2 is good though. It's because on average my decisions take probably ~5 seconds, but occasionally being able to think for 25 - 35 seconds, especially on the river, is nice. I do however feel that users who habitually "abuse" the system and take much longer than should be required have less time to act than other players, similar to how PokerStars plans to ( or already does?) limit/increase the amount of tables a player can play on a player specific basis.

I emailed stars on this issue, and I really really want the normal speed tables. Multitabling fast tables is impossible for me and it will suck to an extreme amount when you lower the time bank since it will decrease my maximum amount of tables. Every second less than the normal speed tables are bad so please lower the time bank as little as possible.

i think a part of why they are doing this is to reduce the number of tables people that use the full time on normal tables play

so i feel like i need to defend myself, so ill post the full story here.

first up guy is 40/23, doesnt play that often, i has him at:



obv its a micro-sample size and he has run ridiculously over expectation, but i doubt he is much worse than a marginal loser. he certainly leeches from the games relative to rake, and his style is particularly annoying to mt regs.

my main issue tho is that when he runs even a tiny bit bad he berates people (myself included), educates fish, etc. this guy is terrible for the games.

when i choose to troll someone on stars i dont really pay attention to how they are playing, or what the hand was. i just wait to win or lose a hand (whichever is relevant), and then troll them the same way they do to other people. thats all i was doing here. the aim is that either they realise how annoying it is so stop doing it, get tilted and play badly, or even in a best case scenario quit and dont come back.

Yeah we talked on the table and I thought he said that to a fish (guy was playing in a weird way, no auto rebuy, ...) and I was pretty tilted to.

Anyway, that's obviously ok and I'm sorry about that, but I wouldn't be if vilain was a huge fish.
