'Rec' is a very charitable term with that turn reraise. Normally I think this type of player is getting flush happy more often than making a desperate bluff so I prefer to gii to prevent a river check back for whatever reason.

This. It's very unlikely he's pot re-raising a hand he doesn't think is the effective nuts here. I think you should either click it back on him or jam it in here so he doesn't check back if the river pairs.

Im jamming. I think the likelyhood of him running a harakiri bluff is small. Its imho more likely that he is overplaying a smaller flush. Either because he is inexperienced or because he overvalues say a set and the 2nd nuts.

Having played maybe 5 mil hands PLO life time this spot has come up maybe a handfull of times. It is so rare and so difficult to gauge villains range.

Also: jamming has the distinct advantage that we avoid c/f the best hand on a paired river when he barrels his air. (Tbh I dunno if I could c/f it tho)

Edit: **** it, I dunno. If we jam wont he fold his flush with some probability? Maybe calling is best to let him hang himself with hands that folds to a jam.

2nd edit: The more I think about it, this has to be a call.

How often does this player pay off a turn 4bet jam? When we call can rep smaller flushes and sets (in his mind) so we always get a bet from him with his K high flushes OTR I think, although I wouldn't know since it's so strange to see villains take this line when we have the nuts ourselves.

Edit: As Oink mentioned yeah this spot is just so rare. I've seen plenty of turn 3bet bluffs with big diamond blockers, but this is during super aggressive heads up matches, not in 6max play really.
