I was at The Bike (Bell Gardens, California) last week and they started spreading No Limit Omaha (HI Only).

They had a $80 no limit game going which I played. Blinds were like the $80-NL Hold-em - $1-$3.

It was a good game.

In the top section, they also had on the board $100-$300 No Limit Omaha Hi, but they were only taking a list of interest. I'm sure during the Legends of Poker they will get that game going and I am looking forward to that!

I had one hand that was just awesome...

Flop was:

7 8 9

My hand was 7 7 A K

I was the big stack at the table and I think I was on the button, don't remember all the details.... But we were all in on the flop.

Other guy's hand was:

J J 10 Q

Even though he had a straight on the flop I was a favorite to win on the flop. that did not pair the board came on the turn and locked up the hand for me.

I look forward to going back and playing the game before Legends starts.

Yes, a set and a flush draw is about a 60% favourite over a flopped nut straight.

Bear this in mind when you flop the straight when a flush draw is present. Many times it is prudent to just call and see a blank turn card.

I live in California and tales of Live, No Limit Omaha intrigue me.

Is it uncapped? Is there an Average buyin for a 1-3$ blind game? Are people going all in preflop for ridiculous amounts? Are people limp re-raising with aces?

Out of 10 people, how many are able to keep up with the amount in the pot?

you're like the guy in the corner at the party who starts laughing ten seconds after the punchline and then looks around kind of nervously to make sure everyone saw that he got the joke.

That guy is awesome.

Yeah as said before... $80 minimum / max initial buy in...

You can do a short buy as low as $3 if you wanted to once you go bust,

If down to $40 or below, you can buy up to $120 total in front of you.

You can only do 1 short buy in a row (followed by Full buy in) but as many max buy-ins ($120) as you want...

Glad to hear the game is still going! I probably wont make it out to the bike for another few days :-/

Oh! Forgot to add... there is no Jackpot in this game, so they dont drop the extra $1... max collection is $4 for full table...
