Not too many reads but overall villain doesn't seem like he likes folding and doesn't seem passive enough to where I can happily check and hope to often see a free card. Problem is, if I check and face a (big) bet, my hand will still be very hard to play on improving non-club rivers. If I bet however, I lack FEq and he has a stacksize where he can often just ship it in with marginal hands. Just x/f seems a bit weak too though, so what's the best play here?
Am I even better off checking the flop because it's also quite an unfortunate spot if raised there?

You're right, no fold equity here, especially against a station, and obviously it'd be a disaster if you bet and got raised off of your equity.

As for flop, betting here is very good, even against a station. Your FEq is lower than usual against a station but you want to give your opponent a chance to call with worse clubs I.e. implied odds.

x/c looks good here I think.
