Okay, firstly a little bit about myself. I am rather found of PLO it is a great and interesting game. I find myself addicted to reading and watching the great game of PLO. I generally either play PLO or 8/10 game mix. I throughly enjoy the logical thought process of poker and enjoy playing online (and going to play live more in fishy environments).
I have a bit of a problem but not come here for advice or sympathy. I usually run up a half a grand at 8/10 game (tournaments and cash) and then take shots at PLO before going broke. I am probably a fish in 1/2 and not sufficiently rolled so often end up broke. I have made it to 2/4 before but with stupid bankroll management but never mind.
I could find the exact hand but it is easier to recall it J

with a suit in the CO. Folding seems too nitty. 98 could give such a huge combo draw it would be mad not to see a flop.
Raise to 3X (just seems to have the same effect to potting, when someone 3 bets aces/kings they get less in and if I have the aces, I am rarely 4 bet folding a flop so doesn't make a difference) (just something I do, it gets as many folds at cheaper price) (pretty irrelevant).
There was a call on button, call in big blind. Probably mucking to 3 bet depending on stats - it is somewhat connected the gap is at the bottom but didn't happen. Depends on if I am in position, alot as well. Although, sometimes people are tighter out of position just depends on reads/feels e.x.

This is a good but horrible flop. On the river, I can only have nuts with a J or near nuts with a 10 but both pretty obvious and scary if up against a straight or flush. If I do not have a boat, I will have a bluff catcher with a straight or flush present 100% of the time on the river (and better two pairs). Furthermore, more than half the deck puts the straight on the turn. 789,QKA IGNORING THE FLUSH.
I was 150 blinds deep so SPR of 17 and my equity isn't great (33.05%) against a strong drawing hand i.e A

. I could even be free-rolled by another J10 as I had nothing to go with it.
I didn't C bet because when C/R, I was expecting to be behind a strong draw or being free-rolled. I didn't think getting it in with no additional outs seem'd viable, I didn't C bet. I check called the button who bet when checked to and it went heads up. The Q hearts came on the turn making the hand unplayable since I could be counterfeited by any Qx whether or not he would merge bet it when checked to maybe not but possible. There was a double flush draw

and a straight available, the big blind double barrelled and I let it go. The problem with the hand is it was very low playability. I wondered if it was worth taking one of on the flop. Is it worth check raising any turns.
I do like to balance a call with AK type hands in this spot (from time to time) but it is hard for me to have AK (C/C). And hard for the BB to expect me to have AK, since it is tempting to raise (there is so many draws out there). The Queen was a bad card because I could be counterfeited by like Q10 or something but even even if I had a hand that I can call with i.e. set, I am usually facing a barrel on river.
At 150 blinds deep 9BB in the pot. No option seems attractive. I guess bet for protection could be best on the flop since I would hate to lose against a two pair or runner runner straight (and it is three way). But, I hated folding such a strong hand to a C/R so much I would puke if I was raised, I was too deep to get it in and every option sucked.
How would you play a JT5 flop with the JT? With a large SPR? And what SPR would you need to not be worried about a C/R and go with it?
Sorry about the ramble it is late/early
