this isn't that tough if you're insanely over rolled or close to it. if ur BR is at a point where losing 10 BI causes u to drop down, then it's not really feasible. not checking for a few days is a really good feeling though - playing just to play well and not to make/get back money.

very good point. the amount of BIs for this to happen probably varies for each player but I guess I'd have to be around at least 200 for this.

earlier i played with 30bi 2-3 tables and ran good...felt really comfortable ldo.
now i play with 60bi 3-4 tables and **** my pants everytime i drop a few bins.
i guess this is one of the things that needs to be learned to hard way to really respect it.

I think my main problem is playing too many tables and running bad. I always have at least 12, and sometiems the tables are heads up and 3 handed.

I'm gonna start over again, 6 tables max, I've just bought a new monitor also so I can go back to having two, and I will use that other screen for the lobby, media player, and maybe a stack of tournaments If i'm puttin in a long session.

I'm curious how many tables you guys play...? I tihnk having less tables will increase my winrate significantly to reduce the variance quite alot. When I was on stars and was making **** loads of money I would work out 10% of my roll then put 1/4 of that onto 1x4 tables, then I move to tilt with a lower roll and im grinding like a nutter, like somtimes 8 rush and even then Id join a waiting list, so dumb.

can I ask you strange question ,cuz I know u play alot of tables, cognitively what goes through your mind on each decision? Like is there a routine? Is there even an analytical procedure or do you 'conclude' from just looking?

Its pretty weird but Ive gone through countless methods and still I can't find one without a weakness so any insight I'd appreciate, only earlier I realised I wasn't even making my cards the prime focal point...

really interesting question, one i havent really thought about at all, but something i think everyone should think about, can probably make a lot more $$$ figuring out exactly how i am thinking and then optimize it mostly to avoid autopilot but for a few other reasons too, will do podcast thing when i get off tables and will discuss it thoroughly, will be up by 8ET i hope otherwise not till tomorrow, party in the CHI!!!
