thx guys, cashed in the last 2 of my total 4 Horse sngs. (for like 10$ a piece ive to add)

I forgot to add its gonna be capped at max 24 players so prolly alot short play (if I last some hours) and half the field is competent-good and the rest is probarly like me. Any of the coaching sites have any good plo8/stud/razz material?

Thx

+1 I found a new to play even while really exhausted and a good way of avoiding tilt, limping every hand I play
there's almost never a hard/marginal decision

ok, 1 more quick question

is this a good or bad move by villain (he is a nit)

i sorta assumed he'd bail on 2 pair, but gues not... i'm 55% so i'm happy, but i just want to figure out whether he's a good or bad nit:

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha, $2.00 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button ($74.40)
SB ($185.25)
Hero (BB) ($399.80)
UTG ($205)
MP ($163)
CO ($433.95)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6, 4, 7, 8
3 folds, Button calls $2, SB bets $8, Hero calls $6, Button calls $6

Flop: ($24) Q, 5, 6 (3 players)
SB bets $22.80, Hero raises to $91.20, 1 fold, SB raises to $177.25 (All-In), Hero calls $86.05

Turn: ($378.50) A (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($378.50) J (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: $378.50 | Rake: $3

Results:
SB had 10, Q, 5, A (two pair, Aces and Queens).
Hero mucked 6, 4, 7, 8 (one pair, sixes).
Outcome: SB won $375.50

Unless you had been really aggro with your draws or seen to be spewing yourself I think its a bit spew, although his two BD FDs do add a lot of equity to his hand.

the other reason it wouldnt be bad by villain is if you are a total nit which it kinda seems like you maybe are so he puts you on AAxx 95% of the time.

Just wondering what you guys think...

I have started to loosen up my range pre. I used to play 30% of my hands at PLO100 over 140K hands.
I played 34% of my hands at PLO200 over 60K hands and increased my winrate by 1BB/100.
I am playing slightly more hands with a higher win-rate at PLO400 but only 16K hands so not really significant. Also I have been playing a lot of SH/HU in that sample.

I am worried that I am just running good though and therefore feel like I can open up my preflop range more. It's hard to tell. I'm running practically even on all-in EV over the hands at higher stakes but my went to showdown figures are slightly higher, which suggests I may be running good.

My extra raises are hands like junky suited aces from EP, more reraises with tricky hands when deep-stacked and then I am calling a lot more in position against EP/MP raises with a lot of gappy suited rundowns, pretty much any suited ace, low pair connecting hands.

Do you think this is just the natural progression of my game or is just a consequence of some run good? Would like to hear from Iggy as I have you running at 50/30 and you obviously find it profitable.

its probably just a case of shorthanded and HU play. I'd imagine there is much more of that at 2/4 than .5/1, 1/2

It's probably a decent amount of the natural progression of THE games as you move up in stakes, not as much YOUR game. But you are adapting as you should / need to / etc.

Obviously 60k hands is nothing and 16k hands is less than nothing but unless you want to get eaten alive as you move up you need to open up the game and know when where and why.

All today, 1/2 HU, most of it in a 12 hour match vs a donk that could not miss. At the end I was playing pretty badly, making some bad calls with second best hands, trying to blow him off pots, etc. Ugh.
