i preface this by saying i'm still new to plo and not very aggressive by nature (which i'm trying to work on). mostly play .10/25 and .25/50 and my pfr% is about 10. basically i raise my very good hands, but perhaps my 'very good hand' range is too small? from what i gather i should probably be raising a lot more hands (20-30%?). is it unreasonable to assume that most of the raises i'm missing are from late position? what's the low end of hands i should be open raising here? a big problem i have is playing postflop after i raise pre and don't get hit square in the face by the flop, which of course tends to scare me off from raising in the first place with weaker hands. does most of the value of aggressive preflop raising (and aggressive play overall) come from outplaying opponents in a lot of small/medium pots or from getting paid off more in the big pots? both? neither? sorry for all the questions
