Hi guys

I'm currently a losing player and have around 7000 hands in my database at PLO25z on stars. It's not a whole lot but I figured it might be enough for someone to tell me where my thinking is wrong ... I'm willing to work something out / pay for this ... you can Pm me offers and tell me a little about what qualifies you to do this ... I can also do an exchange with a player in similar situation and maybe two heads are better than one

7k hands is nothing. unless you're 8/0 or 80/0 there's not much one could tell you from stats imo. and if you're not losing more than like 25BI in those 7k hands you might still be a winning player lol rather post some hands get feedback and move a level down if u feel you're not winning. noone that is qualified to give you the advice on what you're asking will do it for a price that you'd be okay with anyways

Point taken I'll try that ... sounds reasonable other than price point part of it ... you'd be shocked at how much losing players that play for fun would be willing to pay just to try and improve, but yes I see our point about volume ... thanks for taking the time to answer

Stop playing micro stakes zoom if you are a "losing" player or at least someone who can't confidently say they are winning, you're only making it harder for you to win by continuing to play in such games.

As above.. I barely beat the rake at ZOOM but have been crushing regular tables. They are just a ton softer.

Why anyone would choose to play versus mega tight ranges over fairly wide ranges is incomprehensible to me..

And do what instead? Play regular tables? Why should someone be more likely to beat regular tables than zoom? (not trying to provoke, just don't get it)

Usually anyone worth taking advice from will charge money to analyse your database and that's if they don't tell you to go and get a larger sample of hands first.

I would say that if you are a losing player, working with a database might not be the best way to improve your game.

You must have some idea where your leaks are. Flatting too many 3 bets, continuation betting on bad texture boards, over playing AA, etc...

And yes, zoom is way harder I think. I'm a marginally winning player over barely double of your sample and can feel the difference between zoom and normal tables. People play more junk on normal tables.
