So where I live hold em is dead. All the action is in underground plo games. Since this is all I have been playing for.nearly a year, I'm wondering if this is representative of the plo landscape as a whole?
What I mean is, is it like this everywhere? Or am I in some weird time warp plo bubble? Would love the input from people who have relevant exposure to underground games and legal card rooms in america.

NYC is definitely tilted towards PLO

NL is more common in florida casinos, prob around 10:1 from my experience

LA is mostly NLHE but the high stakes players tend to gravitate towards plo

There are some good games around the midwest if thats the area you're looking for. Some at casinos and some backroom games.

I think low states no limit dominates a lot of areas but as the stakes get higher you see more PLO games

I think you can find either one right now. NLH tends to move from 1/2 NLH to 2/5 NLH to 1/2/5 PLO by the end of the night.. guess it depends when you plan on starting.

Ton of 3/5 NLH games and a 2/2 PLO game here in Washington. Also a 5/10/25 PLO game that runs.
