CO ($198.00) 30.4/13.0/2.8 (2626)

BB ($320.70) 40.5/29.8/2.1 (131)

Pre-flop: ($4, 5 players) Hero is UTG T T K K
Hero bets $8 ($461.00), 3 folds, BB bets $24 ($294.70), Hero bets $72 ($389.00), BB calls $54 ($240.70)

Flop: Q A 7 ($162, 2 players)
BB checks ($240.70), Hero ????? ($299.00)

Villain was 3-betting preflop very light. The guy seemed spewy and he would probably call the flop bet with any Ace.

What is our plan here and why?

not a big fan of the 4-bet even if he has been 3-betting much when he 3-bets your UTG-raise from BB.

I think you should bet/call ~125 on the flop, if he calls or shoves with an ace you often have 8 escape-outs.

you cant just check it now and would be a little commited if he pushed so hand plays itself after 4bet

even if you bet 120 you'd be offered 1:4 (25% to win) to make it neutral EV, and you have better chances to win:

board: qdah7c
Hand Pot equity Wins Ties

its not a great flop, he dosent have AA or probably QQ here, and he has to fear you have hit top set. i think any bet over half the effective remaining stacks is fine, and obv call a shove. Bit undecided pre flop - i probably prefer a call, but cant fault the repot

I would guess it's a leak to not 4b here against a habitual 3-better FWIW.

while im not a massive fan of the 4 bet it has done 2 great things, 1. pretty obv he doesnt have AA 2. we have the initiative and looks like we have AA, this is of course presuming you havent 4 bet most of his 3 bets previously

I think he could have QQ here with the way it was playe PR. Either way, like someone previously said, I think you need to bet here and if he shove, you just hope to have 8 outs and not only 6!
