Another "slowplay" question. Should I have checkraised way smaller here, or should I be content with making this monstrous raise and taking an ok pot down?

CO is the only player I have played a lot with. He is a huuuuuge fish and I have seen him like stack off with a pair of sixes in pots. In this particular pot he thought for a long time, folded and showed aces and was like "I can't believe I laid that down". UTG+0 said he folded bottom set, so it makes me think I kind of missed some value.

I play it the same. Giving a free card is just... asking for trouble imo. Even if you flat or raise smaller, if a wrap card comes on the turn you can't feel good about betting you hand and neither will they, so you'll only win a small pot. Plus you're giving a free shot at back door outs.

I can see your point, anyone decent is folding here unless they have a monster wrap... maybe raising up to 60 or so and shoving the turn maximises your ev? Would have to do some calculations on the likely hood of getting sucked out on... too tired right now!

With your stack you can raise a lot smaller and still have less than a PSB left on the turn, so raise whatever he'll call.

50bi downswing today, life is grand. can't make AA hold uup for ****... even when I flop set over set I get run over by runner runners.

okay, it's not 50bis, but dropping 80g playign ****ing 10/20 and 25/50 makes me want to hang myself.

I feel exactly the same as you - lost 30bi the last 3 days (at 1/2 & 2/4) (~3k hands) - every set gets crushed by non-nut flush or straight draws - every made straight or flush loses to sets or 2p hands - variance sucks...

I dropped 10 last night at 2/4, oh well.

Over a large sample I'm also down 15 BI since the promotion started...as is another very winning player I know.

The most peculiar thing is that I show 44% winners in my DB which is absurdly high.

IT"S DONE!!!! I bought a condo in Las Vegas and will be moving my legal residence there. The sick thing is it will start paying for itself right away by getting me away from New Jersey income tax and car insurance.
