HERO???

This guy has been a hyper Aggro Maniac on the flop and turn with everything from c-betting to raising. Would you just 3bet here with the plan of ripping it in if he 4bets???

Or would you just call???

Yeah.

In game I just called but decided to go back and look at that hand later. I thought against this type of aggro postflop maniac of a player, I should have raised but wanted a second opinion.

What would you do in this exact same spot against a solid player who mixes it up well?

I know that I would just call against a nitty player, but what about a solid player that X/R us on the flop here in this exact spot?

Bet/call flop. Call again on vast majority of turn cards. Remember a king, ten, or eight give you straight outs.

Stacking off with this hand at significant depth is a bit light. If you instead had something like AJJ2. NFD + gutshot + 2 clean set outs is doing okay even against a set.
