Full Tilt Poker $1/$2 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 2 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter By DeucesCracked Poker Videos

BB: $200.00
Hero (BTN/SB): $420.60

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is BTN/SB with 2 A 7 6
Hero raises to $6, BB raises to $18, Hero calls $12

Flop: ($36.00) 8 4 2 (2 players)
BB bets $18, Hero,

Villain is a reg, I have played him before and I think the is one of the best/better regs at this limit. He is fairly aggro, but not insane. but I saw he was down 6 buyins at another table so I thought he might give me action/ be slightly tilting as he was typing stuff in chat that suggested he might be tilting.

FWIW, I know this hand looks like a pretty standard raise spot here (im raising this so much), but maybe call given villain?

(villain also min 4-bet the flop (883) in a 3-bet pot and folded to a small turn bet)

Minraise. That would drive him over the edge if he's tilting.

But it's close between raising and calling. You have huge equity against a vast majority of his range so I think it doesn't make much of a difference ev-wise.
Call and shove the turn if he barrels a lot in 3-bet pots. Minraise and see him blow up in chat if he completely missed the flop.

I don't mind calling to shove over most turns, obv raising flop is fine too

i'd use my weaker draws to call flop jam turn, this should be a flop value raise

I mean the reason I like call flop jam turn is not because of our hand but because his betsize makes it a more attractive line in general.

Also I don't like the justification of raising flop for 'value'. Flatting wins more when:

(1) he b/f's a hand that would fold flop
(2) we hit a flush on turn and he bluffs turn (&/or river) w and hand that folds flop

Flatting wins less when:

(3) he turns well and gets it in good vs us with a hand that folds flop
(4) we hit turn and he gets away from a hand that would otherwise get it in on flop

I'd guess that (1) happens the most out of the four, then (3) next, then (2) and (4) the least -> it's close but I slightly prefer a flat
