I have chat enabled so I have no reason not to warn my opponents 10min before leaving... and quitting my opponent after winning pots (gaining momentum) would be borderline ******ed imo, I'd much rather quit after losing a big pot. My point was that opponent doesn't owe you anything and is free to quit at any point. If he doesn't chat, it's his own decision. Many players have also disabled (or been banned from) chat, so they simply can't warn you before they quit.
If you really get this frustrated when you get HNR, you really should consider quitting HU and playing some other form of poker. When I was playing NLHU as my daily grind, I probably got hnr like 5 times on avarage every session (it's much worse than in PLO, at least smallstakes). If you can't deal with that, just don't play. It's part of the game.

Even if you disagree with my opinion, I think my reply had more actual content than most of the replies you got. I might've made my post look a bit hostile, but w/e.
I didn't mean to sound like a douche, but you should seriously try to just ignore HNRs if you want to play HU as your main game, because you will get runned on daily basis. Getting HNR doesn't give your opponent any unfair advantage, but if you get this frustrated from getting hit n run it will probably make you play worse (tilt) and/or just generate useless anger when you are playing. Do you really want to play on in environment that makes you frustrated? All I tried to say is that you should just "deal with it", it can seriously be a big leak if you are emotionally affected from small things like this when you are playing.
edit:
I am
not saying I have never been frustrated after getting hit n' run a few times, but you should be consciously trying to be as emotionally indifferent as possible about it.
