I bet more on the flop because I like to make the same bet with this weak stealing hand as I would if I had the nuts to disguise it. And you need to know this bet is a steal because your hand is very weak - you really want a fold on the flop.

I'm torn between betting the turn to stop a set drawing out and get some info on his hand and check-calling for pot control. I think I usually check behind here but maybe because I know he had a set in this hand I'm thinking about betting the turn. In fact, bet/fold ($1) is the best option on the turn.

As played, I think I probably check-call the river because villain played the hand weirdly and I would have absolutely no clue what he had but am not folding.

you should bet / fold the turn and bet / fold the river.

i think check / calling this river would be a huge mistake because you're ahead of just about everything that puts money in the pot on the flop and turn -- straights / flushes / the hands represented here (even tho being results oriented arent the ones that showed up) are going to take free showdowns almost always.
