Several years ago on FTP, I played a fair amount of PLO50-PLO200 HU and had good success with it. I consider myself pretty competent at PLO but not an expert, and certainly a ton to learn. Recently I deposited some money onto Bovada and decided that I will try and grind PLO25 6max for a while and see how it goes. I am a bit worried that the game is not beatable for even a competent player due to the high rake and no rakeback. I am wondering how beatable some of the players on here think these games are, and what sort of winnings a player could expect to grind out.
I recently deposited $300 for the first time on Bovada and have ran it up to over $2200 Two-Three Tabling PLO25. $300 signup bonus cleared as well so 60+ buy-ins in under 3 Months.
Constantly running into excellent errors by opponents. It makes me laugh every day.
Just get control of your own unforced errors. I had not played in over two years and that $300 went straight down to $89.
Not sure how many hands I have played but I have over 12,000 Poker Points.
Depends on where you're at and it will probably be Bodog. I did hear they weren't allowed to play PLO though.
Small stakes on Bovada is beatable for sure. I came from MTTs and HUNL and had no problem moving from 50 PLO to 400PLO in about 6 months. Granted, I've played mid stakes NL for awhile, but PLO only for about 10 months. If you put in the time and effort to learn you should do fine even with the high rake and no rakeback.
