hi guys, just wondering how you all play top set, which is currently the nuts, when flatting a raise with naked PP TT+, ip - do you always raise full pot facing a cbet? and op do you always check raise pot? cheers
i was always told to never slowplay so is jamming always right, or should you flat, and hope to get it in on a safe turn.

Jaming / betting is right most of the time, this is no NLH BS the real men are here.

but this is just a generalisation, there are a lot of boards/villains/dynamics where slowplay is the optimal line.

It all depends on the flop texture.

too much of a general question imo... this question has a lot of factors to it like board texture, number of players in pot, what type of players etc etc.. post a specific HH's and we could give you a more detailed answer.

Your gonna get cooked about a third of the time anyway by someone catching a straight or flush. Keep your cbets about 2/3 pot like you should be doing already on you're non made hands for stealth. If villain(s) and / or your table is playing for stacks then pot every raise back against you.

Your post is so general. Usually someone has some kind of draw or two pair hand if they continue or raise your bet. The more callers, then the more help you will need.
Try to get as much value as you can when your ahead, and make obvious folds on the river when the straights and flushes get there.

"Never slowplay top set when it's the nuts" is pretty solid general guideline if you are new to the game, especially if you don't have experience from other games helping you understand which board textures are good for slowplaying etc.
