How do we use VPIP and PFR to our advantage in PLO? How do we use VPIP and PFR to our advantage in PLO?

I'm very new to PLO (and poker in general) and was wondering how we can use VPIP and PFR to construct ranges in PLO.

In Holdem if we see villain has a pfr of 20% we can easily construct a range in any program and see that villain most likely has a range that looks similar to this: http://imgur.com/qG7SF80
Do similar tools exist for PLO? If not how do we use stats like VPIP and PFR to help us make better decisions?
Say we use the starting hand chart for 6 max posted in the SSPLO digest ( http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...4&postcount=10 ) What would be our PFR in all positions?

That's a good starting chart. Generally understanding how loose or tight people play pre-flop, will give you a good indication of what kind of flops they are hitting, and how hard. Someone who is very tight will not fair well on a 457 flop, but would do very well on a AKK flop. Using this knowledge is a bit trickier, but basically VPIP and PFR gives you a sense of what kind of hand strength post flop they are playing, and how you can take advantage of that is the tough part that is learned over time.

Hard to make up a chart that tells you villain's range simply from VPIP and PFR alone. You have to consider position as this is generally a better indicator of hand strength (although at midstakes or higher its not uncommon to see good regs open super deceptive hands from EP that hit low boards for example). And as mentioned above, the loosest of players will hit any type of board (but often not super hard), whilst tighter players will hit higher more connected boards.

PLO is a post-flop game and near impossible to put someone on 4 exact cards from stats alone. You have to use your own reading/ range building skills to piece together the range of hands villain may have in a particular spot, and that all comes down to practice and getting a feel for the types of hands players will be opening from certain positions, 3betting from certain positions etc. etc. etc.
