^ The JM Podcast was a good effort and I think JM is a good guy, but it was quite disappointing that a 2 hour conversation with perhaps the greatest poker mind of the last 5 years was so boring and unenlightening.

Seems like a missed opportunity.

7-8M year? Where do you take that from?

Seems like he's right to me. Most winning players contribute nothing to the poker ecology and take out tons.

I remember hearing/reading it somewhere most likely heard it in a podcast from a reputable player (don't think it was joey's podcast).

Yes obviously he is right with that statement although all of us had friends who saw our success in poker and tried themselves and lost some money so we kinda advertised the game in our own way...

But still when stars makes an obvious anti-reg move and he ( getting paid millions per year without having to win 1 hand ) comes off to defend it isn't he a douche ?

Also him being the "pokerstars face" wouldn't you expect him to do something good for online poker ? show some solidarity for us regs over the years ?

So there are rumors that Isildur got 50k/month from FTP and now that Dnegs gets 600-700k/month? Doesn't seem very reasonable to me. I think that number is wayyyyyyyyyyy off.

Yet, oddly, they still offer VIP programs to the very people who are essentially "killing the games."
So winning players take more out of the economy than rake does ? That would be very surprising to me.

Negreanu makes 1-2m a year and winning players cash out a LOT more than stars makes.
