I crush PLO at these stakes, then move up stakes and ain't rolled and include the hash and the rum. But the best advice is, being able to fold after 3betting or calling a raise or raising yourself pre on a lot of flops is key. Fold to even small bets on a lot of flops. Check a lot when you aren't huge. Don't just play aces. Don't always spell out aces. Good players know anti-AA hands, especially in position. You gotta know how to play AA in PLO, how to mix it up. Play a lot of hands pre. The idea that you fold 75% of hands in PLO comes from people with no idea. You can only get put in so many situations so many times. Learning the hard way is key. If you can't remember every time you lost, you need more help in PLO than you can figure. Like look at the poker landscape.. ivey remembers every spot he's ever been in.. doyle has a photographic memory... daniel is the best reader in history maybe.. you gotta learn the hard way. In regard to folding more than 75% of hands in PLO, yeah, as a low limit player, I'm still getting used to the fundamentals. Your postflop play must be phenomenal? Is there any advice you can share to help postflop play?
LOL! I'm getting older and my memory is getting worse but luckily, I'm able to take notes and PT4 has a hand replayer. On the plus side, by the time I get to the old folks home, I should be able to crush the PLO games when we're playing for the apple danish desserts.
