Poker Stars $0.10/$0.25 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

Hero (BTN): $74.40
SB: $22.55
BB: $26.60
UTG: $24.95
MP: $35.45
CO: $21.40

Pre Flop: Hero is BTN with T 7 6 5
1 fold, MP calls $0.25, CO raises to $1, Hero raises to $3, SB calls $2.90, 1 fold, MP calls $2.75, CO raises to $15.25, Hero calls $12.25, SB raises to $22.55 all in, 1 fold, CO calls $6.15 all in, Hero calls $7.30

I went into the tank after the 4-bet and decided to go. SB is 60/15 over a couple orbits. My thought is that there's a good chance they have high cards, but if one doesn't, I have a decent hand, anyway.

Why repot with this hand on the button any way?

Because it's been a passive table and I've been raising a lot (probably playing 45/25 at this point) and I want to keep the image going with a hand that can hit decently hard in position. The raiser is new (as in I've never seen him, and thus he's probably weak/predictable), and unless he has AAxx, he's probably calling and giving up on the flop.

With the recent flow of the game, I expected everyone else to fold to him. Obviously, he and the SB woke up with hand.

I don't like the 3 bet at all regardless of your image.

Im not a big fan of the 3-bet pre-flop because all your opponents are between 80 and 100 BB. By 3-betting you give CO a chance to get more 50% of his stack in with Aces preflop and when he doesn't have Aces he can call your 3-bet and check raise all-in on flops he likes. I think 3-betting with this hand is better when your opponents are 150 or more BB deep.

the 3bet is fine to mix in occasionally with rundowns. 567T may be a bit weak, but not horrible. As played call. Against 2 opponents with bad AAxx you'll have more equity then they will.

They were pretty weak postflop, so they would have to hit the flop really hard to not fold to my c-bet. But, I guess it being that shallow makes it somewhat marginal. On the upside, if he does c/r me all-in, he'll probably have around 150BB that I can take later!

Why? I mean, I can run simulations and see that if one has AAxx and the other has BBBB, then I'm making this call all day. And, even if the SB doesn't come along, I'm making money on my 4-bet call. I knew it was close at the time and I wanted to know what others would be thinking about if they were in the hand at the moment.

This. T765ds is not a bad hand at all to be in an 3 way all in preflop with.

Wouldnt 3bet preflop, but as played I would gamble.
You never in too bad shape and if you're lucky they both show pocket pairs and you got nice equity.

Besides, gambling is fun.

I approve, but this is about the worst hand I'll do it with(I don't want the two gapper at the highcard).

you shouldn't 3 bet passive raisers with this kind of hand, in a different situation I would prefer it much better. Once you have 3 bet don't fold.

I agree. I probably wouldn't have if it wasn't double-suited. But, I think I'm convinced I should probably not do it when the opponents are so not-deep, unless I know for a fact they will fold without a top-two/13-card wrap or better.

Why not passive raisers? Just because it's probably AAxx and they'll reraise? Is 2% pfr always AAxx?

The 3-bet's not bad, but it's a lot better if you have a read on CO and know that he raises a lot of hands. I'd usually want at least a few rounds with him before making this 3-bet.

Once you get reraised though, it's an insta-call. Not even close to being a fold.
