I already pimped A Prayer for Owen Meany (although I doubt anyone is going to pick it up)

But I also want to strongly pimp a book called The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Klay. It is great.

For someone like crashwhips, I guess I should recommend something like The New York Trilogy by Paul Auster, but this is not going to be everyone's cup of tea.

For my ranking method, I go from left to right and each one gets a number based on their ranking. So far left is #2- tall and long legs, second one is #4- thighs touching is no good, center one is #1- long legs nice ass definitely the best, 2nd from far right is my #5-short legs and droopy butt syndrome, far right- #3 - I like long legs and by default she has longer legs than the lower two.

I wasn't aware that there were different ranking methods. I always assumed it just meant left to right, who do I like best. I.e. whoever gets 1 is the one that would be punished with the fury of a norse god the most.

I read Kavalier and Klay, it is indeed a very good book. Haven't read or heard of Owen Meany, but I read a couple other Irving works (Hotel New Hampshire, WAT Garp), and while I thought they were enjoyable, for my tastes they were too sensationalized and he tried too hard to be quirky and weirdly sentimental so I don't remember them all that fondly. Have never heard of the New York Trilogy but reading about it on amazon it seems like something that would be right up my alley, I'll add it to my massive backlog of stuff I'd like to read at some pt.

And Then We Came to the End by Joshua Ferris is another one of my favorite novels, along w/ Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran-Foer. Bonfire of Vanities by Tom Wolfe I only got halfway through (I'm at varying stages of completion of about 20 different books now, and most of them I'd like to eventually finish) but enjoyed what I read of it quite a bit and it's pretty accessible and easy to read and most people who read that one seem to come away with a good impression.

I think you would enjoy the New York trilogy a lot.
A Prayer for Owen meany is pretty sentimentalist, but still a very good read.

I think you might also enjoy Lunar Park by Brett Easton Ellis. It's very different from American Psycho, but surreal enough that you would probably like it. (This is coming from someone who didn't particularly enjoy American Psycho)

Oh, just thought I'd throw in American Gods by Neil Gaiman. It is not too complex, but just enough quirky that it comes together really well, I think.

It never even occurred to me that some people ranked that way. I didn't even grasp it when I made my earlier post and I briefly looked at the link.

idk how you people have time to read

I listen to audiobooks while walking to and from school, also while I work out (lately).

If not its just a matter of priorities. The Wheel of Time bookseries, which I'm now "reading" on audiobook, is so far superior entertainment to almost any TV shows running currently, so I just sit with coffee listening to that instead.

It tilts me when I play an audio book that is performed by a computer voice. Thus far, I've never completed one audio book

Lol I would never listen to a ****ing stephen hawking voice for hours at a time!
the WoT series is read by some expert voice actors

The only logical way to do it, is to start from left, assign a number to each girl, which indicates your priority in which to bang them. If I want to bang the one in the mid the most, that means she is number one.

My primary problem isn't the time but the inability to concentrate after work to read something.
When I was in Thailand I read "A Clash of Kings" in 2 weeks (ca 800 pages), but back home I manage to read about 10 pages a day and then it becomes frustrating. Really need to pick up my reading, but haven't found the cure yet.

As far as recommendations go then Robert Ludlums Bourne Trilogy is the best fictional series I have read. The movies were complete crap compared to the books.

Amazing. Makes you wonder how many more of these things exist, where people incorrectly assume that everyone sees the world in the same way they do.

Every time I see two people arguing now, I'm going to think that maybe they actually have the same opinion, but end up believing they're in disagreement only due to communicating through different systems.
