Well, against more than one opponent I think generally is a correct play. Yet, if you had played previously with these guys, maybe you should call a certain ammount of time.
4 way flop and it's not good - if I get check raised I can't continue and i'm bloating a pot for no good reason.
Also very unlikely I have the best hand - although this time I did.
Any wrap or pair plus draw will have good equity against me and can put me in very tough situations on most turns.
I'd still bet that flop, even if a very small bet, because as was revealed later no one connected with the flop and that happens more often than not (even in omaha). From this hand alone table seems to be very soft and exploitable.
bet flop. you can bet half of short stack's size and put some fear into the guy behind him that he's opening himself up to a raise in case the short stack shoves.
this board is just not all scary enough for you not to bet and when heavy action comes it's easy to deal with.
