It totally doesnt make sense to me, why would durrr call the 6bet for 60k, having 120k behind, been a 300bbdeep pot, while he had only invested 4.8k in the hand with a weak hand such as 5T8Qds ? Really even if u want to gamble it doesnt make sense since he had so little invested. On the flop its ok whatever he had an openended so i guess he can call, but what doesnt make any sense is preflop. Am i missing something here ? Or are they giving back the money if they lose to each other or something ? cause this just doesnt make sense from no point of view.

guess he figures the other 2 have all the high cards and the overlay from the shorty that's allin is enough to chase it.

If ashman and phil both have a high pair then he is in great shape and he should be creaming his pants to call with four unpaired cards but it is high variance and I'm not sure why he thinks they both have to have a high pair.

Even if u really want to gamble dont see how this hand can make sense..

Actually i finally figured it out. They are playing crazy games on Bobbys room, so 120k seems nothing. People are losing and winning millions in one our playing chinese poker, durrr aparently lost like 1.8mi yesterday or something, so when durr sat at a cheap 200/400 plo table he decided to just gamble the hell out of everyone and it did work since he ended up 800k. Now it makes a little more sense.

However, that hand isn't nearly as bad as it looks.

If he things that he can pin Ashman's 3bet range and OMG's 4bet range then his hand is not bad at all. As someone else said, it is high variance but it's durr. lol


1. 5x 8x --- if the flop totally bricks for 2 villains durr has a decent chance at the low straight or 2 pair

2. Qx 10x- if villains hit the flop hard with their high pairs than Durr has a decent chance at the high straight.

3. Double suited adds a bit more value and you've got to think that at least one of your suits is not covered by villains

4. huge implied odds if u hit the flop hard

5. pray that other two do not have a 10. lol
Which in this case OMG did but it didn't hurt Durr

The ballsiest part is being willing to stick 60k in there pf but it's not a nutso play to play that hand if you think you've got your opponents hands pinned down.

That hadn is a sicko hand that plays top and bottom ranges in regards to flop textures really well.

I guess that's why Durr is Durr.
