This is my last 4 days. Solid grind playing small stakes to feel comfortable playing omaha again, moved to 1-2 today, within ten minutes got my ass handed to me(not really), was down 1k.stuck it out... up 2 bi's @ 200 now. Remembered how sick this game is and how much I more I enjoy it than holdem.

the thing that I don't get is how you got him to play you so long. everytime he plays me he basically leaves after winning or losign 2 bi.

but yeah, god bless susgg. He dropped $5k in an hour playing 5/10 hu a little bit ago.

(not that 5 bi is a lot playing HU PLO, but it's more that this guy is usually playing .5/1 and 1/2)

Um he dropped like 6k playing 2/4 awhile ago as well. that was hillarious.

He bought in $60 to start, lost it the first hand, then did that 3 more times losing every one before he started to build up a little bit of a stack. Then, when I busted him again, he started buying in full. It's all about just getting him on tilt.

It's funny because when he had his stack up over $1,000, he started playing super, super passive. Like limping every time preflop, never raising before the river, etc. But whenever he was under 2 BI, he was 3-betting every single hand regardless of his cards, raising flops light, etc. Kind of a split personality.

I'm such a coward it's ridiculous. For the most part, anytime I'm running well/hot, I end up quitting way, way too soon. I end up playing pretty poorly because I end up feeling really nervous and scared I'm going to give back the gains. I really, really need to work on this. Luckily, I've gotten better about quitting when I'm losing, so I'm not screwing myself on both fronts, but I really don't think I'll ever be a really profitable big-bet player when I practically concede the days that could end up making me 10-15+ buy-ins.

I have the same problem. My last 3 days have been really good, but it makes me scared of playing more. I hate the idea of braking my good run.
So I end up playing alot more at the times I run/play bad.

Playing the same time every day helps though. Whenever I sit down I decide to play for certain amount off time before I stop.

This is my exact problem as well. I've had some sick bad runs at end of sessions before, so now I usually quit way too soon. I guess I could say "I'm playing scared". And I'm not playing too high stakes either, my BR is perfectly okay with it, it's just that it seems I always lose my profit at the end of sessions.

I'll have to try playing a lot more and a lot longer after christmas. Try to torture myself with some 6h multitablesessions...

I'm starting to think that best strategy in PLO would be to see every showdown when I've entered the pot, because I can't bend the green line towards the blue one no matter how TAG or LAG I try to be:

Sorry about whining.
*December Low Content Thread* Quote
12-29-2007 , 07:07 PM
Unless you play HU, the green line's not supposed to reach the blue line. All the pots that someone else goes to showdown on and you put in money and fold count against you. If you looked at 1,000 players' graphs for 6-max/FR, about maybe 15 people would have the green line over the blue line over a decent sample size.

It's not just you, I see this complaint about once every other day which is why I spelled it out in detail here. Maybe it should be stickied in BBV or something.

December can die.

-200k to start it.
Then I pull a 48hr diesel session that something starts off with 150k upswing I can feel unstucko so obv no sleep, then 75k downer capped off by this good night slap to the face. 37k actual flips at 25-50 no good.

Sry no graph, maybe I'll get pokertracker for the new year.
