I have discrepency between how much my pokerev says i'm up on the month and how much pokertracker says i'm up. I dont understand because i thought pokerev got the hands from tracker. I really dont know which one is right because i hardly ever check my account. Anyway, anyone else have issues like this?

I've come to realize that regaining my interest in poker is going to take some sort of concerted effort and schedule. I'm not sure if I'm up to it, right now.

At the end of December, I'm moving to berlin for 5 months, which should be an interesting change. I'm also going to be spending a few weeks of January in the UAE. In germany my gf is going to be studying, and I'm going to be a degenerate house-husband, which means that in theory I should have lots of time to play cards. I'm not going to bring monitors etc, so I'll have to figure out how well I can 4 table on my laptop.

Barring a sudden and miraculous december comeback, 2008 is going to register as a losing year (not counting stakes, my main source of steaks) which is something I only thought happened in bad BBV posts. There's obv. tons of reasons I haven't had a great poker year, most of them boiling down to disinterest and just generally not taking poker seriously, but it's still a strange feeling. The next few months are going to involve some soul searching and general introspection as I try and figure out what exactly I'd like to do with the next part of my life. It's really sort of interesting, in that I can do more or less anything, and don't particularly want to do anything at all. There's a general air of ennui and self-indulgence which I need to get over.

anyway, december goals:

- get all my banking etc set up so I can cash out euros etc.
- try to get some sort of regular blog-presence established, either at CR once they roll out the new software or at my own site
- get living arrangements etc. sorted out for the trip; this is mostly done
- read/start reading Musil's "A Man Without Qualities"
- continue learning about finance and econ
- See my family

I guess that's mostly it. If I'm feeling adventurous I may even play some poker.

Psssh, you americans and fifa. For a true football game it has to be pro evo(might be called something else over there). Although I have heard that fifa have improved the realsim in this version.

I've been a pro man my entire life! Until I played the demo version of 9, heard the full version was terrible, and heard that the new FIFA was brilliant. I have swapped sides, and I urge you to do the same. It's harder, it's more realistic, it's more fun, it's 10x the game overall. DO IT.

I'm wazzbot on the new COD on PS3 network if any of you guys see me - but I just got the game a few days ago and want to finish the main storyline before I play network.

I played Pro Evo till this year. FIFA 2009 is a master piece... especially the sick online play mode. There is nothing like having 22 players on the whole virtual pitch playing a concerted game... it's a real trip.
