Calling 4-bets against Aces Calling 4-bets against Aces

I play .10/.25PLO and the players at these stakes tend to 4-Bet Aces almost 100% of the time, they also tend to get it in on almost any board texture, and i feel like it's a great spot to exploit and increase my win rate.

My question is what kind of hands are doing well against aces pre, and post flop. What kind of hands do i need to justify a 4-Bet, and how important is position against a 4-Bet.

Thank you.

good rundowns do best. basically just try not to have a pair or an ace in your hand. double s00tedness is also better. a hand like 456Jds has 42% against aces if you 3bet it you would get odds to flat a 4bet with it.

next when the flop comes we usually call it off with like pair and gutshot+ and most definitely like a pair+FD. its just a math problem of figuring out how much equity you have versus aa** versus how much is in the pot and you an calculate your Expected Value (EV).

there are much more well written/better examples throughout this forum i would just read them and play around with simulations on www.propokertools.com

Position is not really that big of a factor in a 4bet pot because the SPR is so low it really isnt too relevent that often particularly at lower stakes. However deeper the stacks the wider you can call 4 bets, the wider you should 4 bet and the more important position becomes. 100bb however it really isnt a great factor at all.

Calling 4 bets against obvious aces:

Unpaired hands, preferably double suited and connected and generally dont have an A in the hand. However, if you are 100% sure your opponent has aces I call with even alot of unpaired single suited hands and stack off with necessary equity. High variance though.

4betting - 4bet hands that will A) Dominate their 3betting range and 4bet calling range. I.e double suited premium run downs if you know opponent is 3betting alot wider. Double suited KKs can and should be 4bet vs a wider 3bet range. However, if opponent is pretty tight/nitty you should not really 4bet many hands that are not AAxx.

Hope that helps.

I just want to make the point that for 100bb you're in a neutral EV situation. Don't expect to make a fortune.

calling 4bets against AA's can be super profitable as long as you dont call with Pair dominated hands, and hands that contain an A. usually ill call almost all 4bet (these are the people that only 4bet aces) with almost any double suited hand that isnt paired has some connectiveness and does not contain an ace unless its like A89T double suited.
