well you do have some AQ Q9 in your range but he has more and probably got blockers, so it's kind of exploitable to b.f here if he is capable of bluffing, otherwise its a good value bet. but if you check and he pots then you have a very hard time also...

interesting river spot actually in terms of best sizing when b/f or b/c and when you should check call and check fold.

Yea, it works great! You bet with this sizing with intention to b/f, opponent shoves and then you talk yourself into a call because you "induced with sizing", get shown a straight, move on to the next hand.

If you pick a bad and passive player for this move, you shouldn't think in "call because we induced with sizing". Just an easy fold.

What do you like here then APO? Against passive players I prefer to bet/fold a normal amount and against good players I am kinda lost.

Against a decent player I am agree.

But against a loose and passive player, would you check and fold against a decente size bet too? Don't you see value in small value betting here?

If he had 2 pair or sets he would check back with no flush draws on this board it seems very likely a straight. If he is as passive as you said, doubt he bets big as a bluff. When he bets big its usually a straight.
