So, Hwang and others always go on about generating a big pot. It's general poker strategy big hand big pot but I'm finding in the PLO games that it's very hard to do unless the other person has a big hand as well.
Most of the time when you bet the pot, you scare people off.
The example here is not the best as I could have easily slow played this one but more often when you flop sets or trips or there are flushes on board, everyone shuts down. I know that's the reason for betting the draws but I'm picking up a lot of small pots but only a very occasional big pot where I either win or lose 100bs

hwangs strat is based around beating live drunk donk players

best to read a few more books

Your hand is so strong there that you should be betting much smaller, but still I bet 4$

But mostly it seems you have to build the pot while you are on a draw that has equity over villain otherwise they won't call if the board shows anything dangerous...lots of scared players in Omaha compared to Holdem.

In said example - bet $1 on the flop. Whole table calls. Blank turn. (Or maybe a 9). You've now built a big pot holding the nuts + redraw on turn and people going to find it harder to fold.

Not saying the above is the best play - but sometimes betting less builds more.

    Dire ******* advice.

bet 3.99 to 5. Prefer slightly smaller side, but at this level, people aren't folding sets, two pairs, flush draws etc to one flop bet.

Betting 1$ is not really bad or anything, it induces.

It's actually kinda hard to make a mistake on this flop, even checking is fine. Standard is to charge the Acc though.

I don't mind small bet here you are only scared of 10 flush cards the rest improve/ don't alter your hand, I prefer like $3, then it looks like you can just be c betting.

I Like potting it at these stakes. 2 other players in the hand, someone is likely to have a flushdraw/set and the players at this level chase like no tomorrow. anywhere between 4.50-Pot is fine.
