What are your main adjustments to play at these tables if you buy in for 50bb?

Play a bit tighter?

Call 3bet less often?

Less set mining with some hands like poor KK** QQ**, etc?

Any ideas?

Is it good to buy in for 50bb or is it better to buy in for 20/30bb and stay at the tables when doubled up?

I really prefer to play the deep tables but there is not much tables 40/100bb on stars running at 2/4+, so its always interesting to be able to play om both

number one adjustment is switch to deep tables with antes.

but seriously, look through the older posts. there are like 2 of these threads started per month. join a training site. close eyes, shove, and pray? do the rungood god dance? hope u enjoy rollercoasters. gl

50 bb is a lot different, but the problem is describing all the adjustments. There are hundreds of spots where stack sizes are going to come into play, so it's better to ask a more specific question about 50 bb.

I don't think anybody is going to type up a 10-page response to show all the differences.

no i dont think so either. if you look at some of the big winners on stars in those games youll see they play quite a different style. but i dont think anybody is gonna give away information.

the problem you're going to face is that the people who know the best way to play on shallow tables won't want to post their thoughts on a public forum, so the people who do post their thoughts probably suck.

you'll pick up tidbits of info here and there hunting through all the various "shallow PLO" threads around but at the end of the day you need to do the work yourself to a) figure out what's actually true and b) actually learn how you should be playing.
