Villian tends to be on the passive side, e.g. limps and min-raises the button. Doesn't raise a lot, tends to raise small when he does. I haven't seen him make any obvious mistakes yet tho.

Not betting the turn seems pretty bad in retrospect. I think I did it because he was folding to turn bets a fair bit. I think I probably checked thinking he wouldn't call both turn & river so maybe he was more likely to call the river. But yeah I expect to get flamed for this.
He doesn't barrel a lot, tends to play more trappy, so I assume this makes my turn check worse? Anyway I assume most opponents would call on the turn with a medium flush?

Sigh. This is probably one of those spots where in hindsight we should fold, but i can never bring myself to in the game

Logic for not betting the turn is reasonable, but you should be betting here. If villain is betting air on flop (not often with reads), a double-barrel is extremely unlikely. You're not representing much since you c/c the flop, and villain is definitely calling turn with any flush.

Folding the river is the right play even though its so tough. It's hard to put villain on a hand that beats us after betting the flop. KKxx with hearts would make sense if K on river wasn't a heart. I wouldn't be surprised to see QhThxx here. I don't think villain is value-raising anything worse. Don't even think 66xx or 99xx is a possibility
