Love it or hate it?

Also, any comments on the stack sizes for this type of bluff? In retrospect I think either being a little shallower or a little deeper would have made bet-sizing easier.

I think it's a little unnecessary. Once Villain calls the turn, you have to give him a big set or NFD. A ton of those draws are filling up by the river, plus he's going to call that half-pot on the river with an unfilled set a lot of the time, too, as he's only beaten by one hand.

i might be a fish but i love it, very credible rep of broadway, all the draws missed etc.

BUT is this the sort of villain who can fold a set? have you been caught bluffing much. i like the play but only with the right image + villain

I think you are correct in that it is very villain dependent.

I had no reads on villain at the time and had played less than 20 hands with them.

It turns out they were a huge fish spewtard who wouldn't have folded top and bottom two pair there, let alone a set.
