$1000.00 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 4 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

BTN: $1419.73
Hero (SB): $1000.00
BB: $1344.00
CO: $1569.00

Pre Flop: ($15.00) Hero is SB with 9 J K T
1 fold, BTN raises to $35, Hero raises to $115, 1 fold, BTN calls $80

Flop: ($240.00) 8 K 3 (2 players)
Hero bets $140.00, BTN calls $140

Turn: ($520.00) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: ($520.00) J (2 players)
Hero bets $215.00, BTN raises to $1164.73

Villain is a big fish, peels flops too wide and is somewhat aggressive, however he has a low W$WF of 43% over 300 hands (which makes it more likely he is just merging than bluffing). Open raises about 50% OTB with a low 3bet %.

I need to be good about 25% to call on the river shove, and doing some range calcs I'd estimate he has AT** 17%, T9** 7%, TT** 3% before he shoves.

Do we think villain is shipping T9**/TT** almost never here?

Also, I know PF is too loose, I was a bit tilted :P

Pre looks fine to me. I'd bet / call turn, and I'd expect your sizing on the river to induce enough spaz to call.

Why do you think bet/call > ck/call ?

I expect villain to call with naked K's better than mine or pair+ decent draw, and when he ships I'm going to be behind every time, so little value in betting as we're behind his calling and raising range imo.

A lot of your threads lately lead me to believe that you don't barrel turns wide enough. How do you play wraps without a pair, straight draw + flush draw, or bluffs (doubt you do this as much as you should.) We have a little over pot behind, and you said yourself he peels flops too light. Him folding a flush draw, or 83 is a great result for us, and if we bet and he turned a top two we still have about 25% equity.

Thanks, I ran some numbers and this is a good spot to semi-bluff/bet for protection.

Just seemed to me like no better fold/no worse call spot so just ck/call with good equity.

Yeah just pot/call turn. As played i think i'd fold because he is probably not bluffing enough. I like river sizing though.
