so i'm currently playing 2 tables of 4PLO without a HUD because i want to work on developing good reads on my opponents tendencies. this villain is relatively unknown, i have played with him in the past with a HUD, and i remember him being somewhat decent

my image is super tight and i 3b pre with a pretty good hand. i realize that he's likely calling with his entire range, but i think my hand plays well postflop and i can make a lot of nut straights and top set with my QQ. i think i'm folding to a 4b because he has AAxx a lot of the time when he 4bets and i dont want to play OOP (call) or get it in as a slight dog (5b/call)

i realize that i rep AAxx so often here that its going to be easy for him to outplay me on low, kinda wet boards like this. i cb hoping to take it down and i was intially planning on giving up if he called, but he took quite a while to call that i felt his hand was weak (marginal overpair, weak two pair).

based on my flop read, i thought i could profitably 2 barrel a scary turn card and get him off overpairs and any two pair without the flush draw

good play, or did i completely misinterpret his range?

Im just giving up ott as he would put you on AA that your never folding(who folds AA at 4plo anyways) and thus have alot of minor draws in his range. The 6 bangs right into this range.
add the chance of being bluffed and this makes the turn a C/F imo...
