i was figuring i would combat my disadvantage of being OOP by raising and taking intiative and potentially getting it 3 way or less.. essentially i should be set minng tho right/

I'd call w/crappy aces hoping to hit a set on a dry-ish board. Miss the set, then check/fold. Or just fold pf, these aces are exceptionally crappy and it pays to be nitty from BB.

No idea why you are betting flop at all...? Betting the flop isn't as bad if you just call pre, but by 3-betting your opponent will put you on aces, and you whiffed.
