This hand occurred in a dream I had last night.

Middle stages of a live deepstack PLO tournament. I was just moved to a new table filled with big stacks, I'm sitting on a little less than avg.

UTG limps, folds to me in the CO where I limp along with A 2 Q 8. BB raises a little less than pot, UTG calls I call.

Flop comes out J T 9. UTG leads for pot, which by now is the vast majority of my stack. What do I do?

PS: in my dream we were playing like some weird variant of 13-card omaha or something but since for some reason I remember this hand I kept the basic context and changed it to standard plo.

Definitely fold, or you'd have to risk standing up if you bust out

I hate dreaming about poker. I'd say that if poker's starting to invade your sex dreams, it's time to cut back for a while.

I think you ment "her range was so wide".

And get it in. You have to gamble in the tourneys, even when you're getting head from your gf. If it would have been some random chick and not your gf, then you could have just let it go and enjoy the blow.

By all means, shove it. You are only behind KQxx on this flop, and UTG might be potting and getting frisky with something like a set + FD, for example. Check out the equities here:

(You are well vs top set)

(You are in bad shape against KQxx, but it could be profitable if BB comes along)

It's profitable anyway if he already has ~25% of his chips in the pot.

with a SPR less than 2 and an A high straight redraw to go with your nut flush draw, this is an easy shove.

with the size of this pot in relation to your stack and the stage of the tourney, would you expect to find a significantly better spot to double up should you fold since you started the hand a little under average chip stack ?
