Hey guys. I'm not a reg PLO player, just play occasionally. I prob should have 4 bet this pre I think.. but I decided to see a flop in position instead (is this ok?) Flopped top 2 on a pretty non-drawy board, but the guy is firing into me. I figure there isn't many combos of AAxx KKxx hands left, but I haven't been in this spot enough to know whats going on.

Any insight/tips appreciated. Thanks.

Mostly read dependent, how often villain 3bets & how bluffy. Readless I prob call turn and fold/check behind river because I'm a station but I don't know if that is best and suspect we should prob fold turn.

Only 4bet if you know villain has a wide 3bet range, lot of SSPLOers 3bet range is 90% AA.

Yea I've noticed 3bet at these stacks is pretty much AAxx KKxx hands, which is why it seems like a tough spot to me.

Im pretty much only 4 betting this if BB is fairly maniacal and 3 bets a lot, or if we are playing pretty deep. However, against your average Joe, calling and playing a pot in position is fine.

Its really hard to say what to do post flop without any reads on our opponent. We have a whole world of options on the flop and on the turn, but its hard to say which option is best without any kind of reads. As played and readless I just call again, but I am not putting my stamp of approval on that at all. Just first instinct based on the limited information I have and I bet my opinion would change if I had more information.

Yea I should probably mention this was rush PLO and as such I had no hands on the opponent or any relevant reads.

This is a spot that I find myself struggling with a lot also. I agree that it is purely read dependent. That being said, in a normal ring game I would find it difficult to fold the turn here. However, in rush, and this might not be true at all, but it seems that opponents wait for nut hands such as AA** and KK**. Ring game I call and see what river brings, if opponent values again on river I give up most likely. In rush though, I probably fold on the turn. To often villain wakes up with AA and KK.

His bet sizing is small which makes me think as a default he has a weaker hand.
Of course he could be the type who sucks you in with small bets.

I like calling the turn and calling a small bet on the river, then making a note of his tendencies.

As an aside: I play with some regulars who i really respect who would value bet AQxx or who would cbet and double barrel with gutters + NFD. I wouldn't expect this to be the case from a random player though.

If you can't get specific reads on players due to RUSH, than i would suggest taking the most +EV line vs the average line other players are making. You may have to call down some bets to gather that information with a hand like AK.

tough spot now so many times the villian has AAxx, only way i see to have an easier turn decision is to rersie the flop, however as played i call down
