I dont mind it but prefer taking a flop. at least fold > 3-bet, imo.

folding this is not a leak.
calling/3-betting could be, depending on several postflop factors.

I believe you have to go with your gut and decide on what kind of match you want to develop or exists already. Then play accordingly.

i agree and i am obv much more inclined to want to 3b if he will 4b more than just AAxx or KKxx.

don't see how you are going to win a ton of pots by just calling pf with these stacks.

I'd normally never consider 3betting but with these stacksizes it might be ok. Stillt hink calling>>folding

If you just call pre flop your basically hoping the villian plays super passive and lets you go to showdown a lot. I doubt many people fit this description and will likely value bet their hands better than one pair and bluff others leaving you in a tough spot with a hand that is very doubtful to make better than the pair of aces.

If villain has even half a brain I fold here.

If I play here it's a 3 bet and hope villain doesn't connect at all.

Either that or it's 3 bet knowing villain will jam close to his entire range on the flop.

I fine with folding, think most people would say raise though.

If he plays really bad postflop or 4bets wide pre I'd 3bet, otherwise call, only fold if you really fear this villain and if you really fear this villain you should just sit out

Insert villain's opening frequency above. Note that you are consistently a 59ish% favorite. 3Bet accordingly.

those simulations account for showdowns. very often we will have to see flops, turns, and even rivers! where additional money must be wagered

so yes you will get in $450 as a 60/40, but dont forget about the other $2600

not that is makes much difference in practice in this hand but our hand is AAAx without a suit, not AAA*. makes our equity about about 2.5% lower than in the calculations above.
