Villain is 37/22, no further reads.

I think all streets are debateble.

i think once you bet the flop you have to fire the turn.river is standard i guess.he never ha a set that we can fold out and with 2 pair he will most likely take his showdown value when we check.his line is pretty consistent with a fd so we just have to c/f

my default for the flop is to check because its 3 way and there is a fd on the board.on a rainbow board i think leading is fine even with 2 other players.

pf is fine. heads-up i may donk, but this flop will hit your opponents' ranges too much imo. they will peel with anything from top2 or gutshot+flushdraw and, it may be very passive, but i am perfectly happy just set-mining with this hand (or hitting the straight / flush).

As the above poster said, the fact that its a rainbow board probably makes this a check

You're just check/folding this flop?

3-way yep. im a total nit. imnotfromsweden. just hoping to hit a J or K if it checks through. i just feel that you will be called so often and dont know what he has based on the texture of the flop - does a board pair or 3rd spade help for example?

i dont really like any option here:P
c/c is spewy and i doubt we can play the hand profitably on later streets.c/r is even spewier because if we get any action we have to fold and if we just get called what would you do on later streets?i think leading is certainly better than c/c or c/r but i would just c/f here

Coming from a NL background (and sweden ) it feels extremely weak to c/f this board, when we are most likely ahead and will get value from straght draws + FDs by betting

But I dunno, I'm known for over-valuing PLO hands

Btw, I find myself in these spots very very often, and I feel as lost every time

i know that it feels weak but i dont think any other option has a higher ev than folding:P
im too coming from a holdem background and these spots trouble me all of th time because you ahve to consider every single option.in nlh in most cases its pretty obvious what the best option is and only occasionally you have to decide between 2 close options and sometimes a 3rd

If you are going to donk the flop you have to hammer the turn--full pot. A set would be very vulnerable/very capable of extracting a PSB on this board. You would have to protect it/cash in to the max.

Most times I check this flop and see what the PFR will do. And a lot of times I end up check-folding because apart from our three jacks, there are very few good cards. Plus we're out of position.
